I tend to reproduce the world on a different grid than the one that is imposed on us. On the matrix of the needlepoint, I try to fit the details of the video games I love, the vignettes of my favorite movies, the readings that have marked me or the colors of astronomical views that fascinate me. It is necessary to rethink the pixel in point, to convert the gradations into single tones, to calculate the dimensions of infinite objects: it is a work of adaptation and precision which cumulates great freedom and a constant rigor. Everything I like.
I also make commissioned works and I sometimes work in association with artists whose cartoons (a preparatory drawing for fine art\tapestry) I reproduce.
